Meh. If she wasn't 31 I'd assume this was a New Adult story.

I couldn't buy that that she was still so dysfunctional 15 years after a being raped by her boyfriend. Yes, it was her first time having sex and it was wrong of him to continue after she said no but her devastation seemed a little out of proportion. The guys were very hot, extremely caring and were the only thing that kept me reading. The mystery was a nonstarter and very predictable.

Mari Carr, Mari Carr you can write menage like no one else can!!!!! Yes girl well and the boys too or I should say MEN. I know when my kindle buzzes a Mari Carr book is there I need to open a bottle of wine and relax it is time to chill out because the girl is bring on the HEAT** She never fails.

In this book we have Jeannette, she works at her family owned Barbeque Restaurant. There are two sexy as sin firemen who come in all the time and eat at the counter. They are always trying to get her to go out with them. YES THEM~! They date together as in double date 2 guys one gal. That is their thing and it works for them. She turns them down night after night and they keep asking.

Jeannette heard her ex boyfriend from high school and his brother were back in town to take care of their uncle who was sick. She wanted nothing to do with her ex but her cousin keeps pushing them together, LUC and Diego see there is something wrong and step in.

This story is not for the faint of heart. It does have some triggers. At least it did for me but it helped me to deal with an issue in my past at a time I really needed to deal with it. This book deals with depression but it also has some very steam and sexy hot menage scenes in it that burn up the sheets,

Mari this is one of your best books and I know it could not have been easy to write but I thank you for writing it.

A Thoughtful, Sexy Romance with a Mystery

This is the first of the Sparks books I've read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One of my fave types of books are menage and I was happy to add this one to my library.
I found Jeannette to be an interesting character and the things she's gone through had me in tears. Luc and Diego made me smile, they wanted her from the moment they saw her and they never gave up.
There is even a mystery which rounded out a perfect read for me. And the conclusion of the mystery? The person I thought was doing it, *grin* wasn't.
I'd recommend this to anyone that likes romance, mystery and menages.

I got these to help quiz my cousin who is a teacher. She has worked in the field for so long, so it made it easy for me to help her study considering I know absolutely nothing about the subjects to be tested. This made it so much easier than trying to make flash cards or generic study guides. Someone knew what types of questions that would be asked and made this practice question list to help which I think is awesome. It makes me want to get these in other subjects simply to learn about them. I was never a test taker as a child, so these might be a good way to improve my test taking skills.

One time, I was walking through the mall with my girlfriend. This girl at the make-up counter asked if she could give my girl a few "beauty tips". The girl behind the counter looked like she just went out partying with Courtney Love at an all night LA bender. I'm talking early 90's Courtney Love. Basically, you don't take make-up tips from someone who has lipstick smeared across her face.

So, in researching whether the author had the chops to write a book about organization, I went to his website. There on the page was an alert that the website had expired 27 days ago. Not a good example.

This book is a gem of background information behind the stories of Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. I found that having these tidbits of information gave more meaning and depth to Christopher Robin, the real boy, who played with his imaginary friends.

We learn about the man, A.A. Milne and the illustrator E.H. Shepard. Their partnership and the way they worked together made books that children have loved to read for 90 years.

Living in the USA, I never thought I would be transported to Ashdown Forest where Milne worked his magic to bring to the page Christopher Robin's playtime adventures. We learn about the plant and animal life in the forest. I love that Kathryn Aalto urges us to visit the real Hundred Acre Wood where everything "Pooh" happens.

This is a beautiful, thoughtful book. The narrative takes you to all the places illustrated in the photos. The book is full of charm and nostalgia, and takes you right to the garden as you read and explore. I received this book as a gift, and now plan to purchase more copies to share.

This book is like a walk through a beautiful restful wood. I loved reading about the door in the tree. It somehow brought me back to my own childhood where I, like Christopher Robin, roamed my parents farm. But a child can have this experience with a small lot as well given some time to do nothing. A great gift for the Winnie the Pooh fan, nature admirer, gardener, or dreamer. The photos are beautiful.

About the Author
Bettina Malle and Helge Schmickl graduated from the Vienna University of Technology in 1991 with masters of science in chemical engineering and received doctorates in technical sciences in 1993. They have published books and conduct workshops on the production of vinegar, distilled spirits, and essential oils, emphasizing the use of fruits and herbs right from the garden. Bettina and Helge have been married since 2002. That same year they moved to Klagenfurt, Carinthia (Austria), where they host their seminars and conduct research and developments in fermenting and distilling. They have two children.

Easy to follow handbook with many recipes

This book is a thoroughly revised translation of its original "Schnapsbrennen als Hobby", the most popular do-it-yourself book about producing spirits and fruit brandies in German. The English edition is not a pure translation, it expands on regional features of North America and Great Britain. Nevertheless it's not just another Whiskey-book, the focus is on the German / Austrian way of producing spirituous beverages: fruit mash is used for distilling in these countries, a much easier method to get flavorful distillates.
Now I understand the great popularity of the German version: the text is easy to follow, scientific backgrounds - necessary to understand the whole process - are described clear and from a practical point of view. Even beginners (like me) are able to start immediately after reading the numerous step-by-step instructions.

Reference book for home distillers

For such a book I have been searching for many years! It describes in easy to follow steps how to produce outstanding spirits or brandies out of various base materials, e.g., fruit like apples, plums, grapes, or even young spruce shoots, herbs, several roots etc. The rich variety of useful plants in my garden is unbelievable. On top of that, the descriptions are focused on homeworkers (i.e., small-scale). Till now I didn't knew crafting spirits or fruit brandy is so easy. Not to forget the results: my spirits are smooth and extremely flavorful, thanks to the detailed instructions and many notes in the book.

The author of this book, Victor Miller, joined the Queen's Royal Regiment, at Guildford, upon the outbreak of the Second World War. He volunteered for the elite Glider Pilot Regiment upon its formation and passed, with above average marks, the RAF pilot training program.

From here, he was to take part in three of the most iconic airborne operations of the entire conflict. The invasion of Sicily, the Allies first attack in to Europe, where he was wounded and temporarily taken prisoner; Arnhem, where the 1st Airborne Division struck sixty-four miles behind enemy lines only to clash with two SS armored Panzer Divisions resulting in 80% losses in nine days; and the assault crossing of the Rhine, into Germany proper, with 'only' 30% losses.

This remarkable story, jotted down shortly after each operation when the events were still vivid in the author's mind, is an astonishing record of skill, bravery, comradeship and resourcefulness which represents a fitting tribute to many fallen friends and colleagues. The book was published initially in 1994, before the author's death. This posthumous edition comes with brand new supplementary content, drawn together by the author's sons and family.

About the Author
Victor Miller was born in the London Borough of Croydon on 6 July 1919. After finishing school at the age of fifteen, he worked as an estate agent before joining up in October 1939. He was demobbed in 1946, moved to New York in 1947 and worked in Import/Export until he returned in 1951. He retired in 1980 after working as an Export manager and, except for his time in the USA, lived in Croydon, Surrey, his entire life until his death. This new edition of his acclaimed book marks a collective effort on the part of his two sons Christopher and the late Peter J. Miller, as well as Peter's wife, Janis Moran, to get the book back into print in time for the 70 anniversary of the ending of the Second World War.

A great account of WW2 airborne operations as seen through the eyes of a glider pilot sergeant. I've read a lot of books and accounts of the plight of the 1st Airborne within the Oosterbeek perimeter, but Miller's account of 6 days of trench life within the vicinity of the Hartenstein Hotel is a must read for all enthusiasts of the gripping combat that was Oosterbeek in 1944.
