A Classic in its honesty and simplicity.....everything you should know about fire fighters and more!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have the slightest interest in London or the Fire Services around the world, then you must have this book in your library. It is a superb accounting of events, happenings, tragedies and euphoria from the point of view of 1 Officer through his lifes work of loving his job and the people he worked with and those in the communities that he served.
Dave has done a wonderful job with his story-telling abilities and I am really transported back to those times when I served with him in the B Division and its characters. Might ask the wife to pop this book into my box when I go so that I can enjoy it some more.
Beautiful David, well done, a triumph and a great read.!!!!
