This is the ninth book in the Calendar Girl series. You must read them in order. I absolutely love this series and Mia.
This book is a little different, Mia stood up her September client. But she had a very good reason, it doesn’t look like her dad is going to make it. But by not going, she doesn’t get paid and now she owes the rich client $100,000. She missed her payment to Blaine, the douche of an ex, and the reason her dad is in the hospital to begin with.
On top of all this, Wes is missing. The book took an unexpected twist with this. It made Mia realize, and finally admit how she really feels about Wes. I may have shouted It’s about time!
“You make loving someone seem easy, when it’s only ever been hard. Being with you is like sitting on the surface of the sun without being burned. The love I have for you has changed me. Made me someone different. A woman worthy of the more you’ve promised. Our paradise.”
Luckily Mia has Max there for her through all of this. Especially after the offer Blaine made her. I will admit, I was worried about what Mia would do.
She is amazed by how nine months of this journey has changed her. Her family had only four people, Her, her dad, Maddy, and Gin. Now her family is huge because of the friends she has made, Max and his wife and kid(s), and she’s in love with Wes.
I can’t wait to read October. I look forward to a new book in this series every month!

Audrey Carlan shows us her magic with not only erotic situations but with the suspense factor in September. (I was reminded of all that she brought us in her Trinity Trilogy in the more twisted side of this story.) The devastation that Wes is put through and the terror that Mia’s ex brings to her and those she loves comes to a head in this book.
September will rival all of the other installments in this series as my favorite!! The emotion, angst, empathy and love that you feel coming from these pages… I had to take a deep breath every now and then and remind myself that these are fictional characters!!
I cannot wait to see where this journey takes us but at the same time I dread seeing it all come to an end! Only 3 more months to go!

Trusting the journey with Mia! Love this book.

After Mia has to rush back home for her dad, her world is completely turned upside down, again!
Through every twist and turn in this book my heart felt like it was going to beat right out of my chest. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting at 3 in the morning. Absolutely amazing addition to Mias journey. I can not wait to read what is in store for Mia and her family.
